155 King of Prussia Road

King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Owner: Brandywine Realty Trust

General Contractor: Norwood Construction

Architect: Ballinger

Glazier: Hutts Glass Co

M&Co Insights:

This building, designed by Ballinger, will feature Viracon’s VNE1-53 glass type.

This is one of Viracon’s best performing high-performance low-e coatings, providing an excellent Solar Heat Gain(SHG) coefficient of 0.22, while maintaining a great Visible Light Transmittance(VLT) of 49%. This allows the tenants inside the building to be extremely comfortable, while giving the owner exceptional energy savings.

This glass will utilize Viracon’s Thermal Spacer (VTS) for increased total system u-value, a matte black spacer appearance, and exact spacer placement on the glass. This spacer also comes with a 12-year warranty instead of the standard 10 with traditional box spacers.

From Brandywine:

"Research shows that American workers spend 90% of their time indoors, and access to more sunlight and natural elements can increase feelings of WELL-BEING and productivity. At 155 RADNOR, there are endless opportunities to STAY ACTIVE, and prioritize the kind of big-thinking that happens best outdoors.

By design, 155 RADNOR seamlessly assimilates the interior with the exterior environment—floor-to-ceiling glass brings light and views inside, while GARDENS, walking paths, and seating areas invite occupants outdoors."
