Meet Nicole: A Steady Presence in Architectural Glazing
Meet Nicole, a partner at Martineau & Co and a steady presence in the Northeast architectural glazing community.
As a woman in construction, Nicole has built her career one project and one relationship at a time—listening carefully, staying available, and working alongside architects, consultants, and glaziers across New York City and the broader region. Women in Construction Week is a fitting moment to pause and recognize that quiet, consistent work.
Nicole’s path in architectural glass began at Viracon in the mid-1990s, where she moved from an internship into estimating, project management, and eventually field sales. Those early years shaped how she still approaches every job today: understand the design intent, respect the realities of fabrication and installation, and help teams land on solutions that are both beautiful and buildable.
Today, as a partner at Martineau & Co, Nicole focuses on making it easier for project teams to navigate glass and façade
decisions. Whether she’s talking through options on a schematic sketch or helping sort out a detail late in the process, her goal is simple—to be a reliable, practical resource in a busy project environment.
We’re also grateful for the manufacturers who support Nicole’s work and the work of our whole team—Viracon, W&W, International Revolving Door, Peerless, and Tecfire—whose products and technical support help bring these projects to life.
This MCO Insights “Meet Nicole” post is our way of saying thank you: to Nicole, for the way she shows up for the Northeast architectural glazing community, and to the architects, consultants, and glaziers who continue to trust Martineau & Co with their projects.
